MAN OVERBOARD!
Man Overboard!
Ever so often someone will ask a tough question. My friend and brother, Bernard Haynes, whose blogs over at his site titled Lead To Impact, did just that to me when he asked me to write a guest post on “vision”. I struggled through it and came up with what I hope is worthy of your time and energy.
For those of you that don’t know Bernard, you need to! He’s got a great passion and is very gifted at encouraging and stirring the mind and heart. I’ve never once read anything he’s posted and not been lifted up by his words of wisdom and encouragement. Follow me over and make a note of his address, you’re gonna want to make it a regular stop in your schedule!

Too good to be true yet like Jonah, we jump in and the end result is the whales belly. Been there done that too! Thanks for the reminder that we are defined by our relationship with Jesus and not our trip to Tarshish instead of to Ninevah.

Well done. Well said. Lesson learned. You are a much wiser man now and able to pass along wisdom like this to people like me (although I have not hitched my wagon to any bad horses as you did) but I did hitch my wagons to the “do it this way and your church will grow” horse. Not a good idea. Thanks my friend for your transparency.
