LEARNING TO LEAD
I rarely step outside of the category of Christian Inspiration/Reflection posts around here and I don’t think I did this time, I just added a twist to it by throwing my two cents in about the popular category of “Leadership.” My pal Dan Black has an amazing and wildly popular blog that covers the subject like the ocean covers the sand sitting at the bottom of it. I hope there isn’t some kind of parting of the Red Sea due to my perspective!
I’d be honored if you’d hop over and give a read if you haven’t already done so and add Dan Black On Leadership to your favorites. I know Dan personally and am honored to call him a friend and brother. I’ll see ya on the other side…

Lots of comments there Floyd. As you know from my post, I have had a pretty busy week so I didn’t have a chance to comment there. so I will here. I have two thumbs when it comes to construction. I can help others and actually got better at it, but really rely a lot on others telling me what to do. I totally agree with your last statement about serving. Thanks my friend.

Thank you, Bill. And thanks for leading with humility. You are one of the people I look up to as shining examples of how to live and lead.

I enjoyed the article over at Dan’s site. I don’t think the red sea will be parting soon.

Thanks, Dan. My style is a bit different, not only in writing about it, but in leading as well. You never know how some folks might take it and I’m not sure how they did since many of his regulars didn’t join in the discussion. Oh well, we just have to follow our hearts. I always appreciate your support, Dan.

I loved this and it’s so true! Great post Floyd!

Thanks, Hazel. I think I mentioned that I thought about you and Robert when I was writing and posting that. You know you’ve had an impact on someone’s life when they’re thinking about yours! Thanks for being a blessing in my life, Hazel.
