GLANCING BEHIND, LOOKING AHEAD
I recall a big kid making fun of my T-shirt when I was in high school. While I appreciate the good things in life like nice clothes, they don’t mean as much too me as they do to a lot of folks in society today. I’d like to share with you what the bully said about me over at my friend TC’s site, Wisdom Of A Fool, today.
TC and I are cut from the same mold and share many things, the most important being our love and trust in God. Check out Wisdom Of A Fool, you can subscribe to that and the quarterly newsletter that will blow your socks off! I’ll chat with you over at TC’s. Click here to get there. I’ll race you over. On your mark, get set, GO!

We definitely have the same ingredients or marbles rolling around our heads! Thank you for having me as a guest blogger. I’m honored. And thanks for being bold to stand up for the will of our Father. That courage is contagious.

Nice post, I left a longer comment on the other site. I remember ironing on patches to our son’s jeans and shirts. One time our girls heard a comment, I used to have a dress like that – – It was her dress but we didn’t say. It came from our local thrift store. I think we sent it along after that, Oh well!

I know! I forgot about the iron on patches! I had more than my share! The things you remember and jar my memory with are priceless! Thanks, Hazel.

Hi Floyd…..Looks like I’m bringing up the rear with my comments. Nice of TC to host your piece. I couldn’t get into the comments section there so am leaving it here.
I do so agree….”Wisdom screams” – doesn’t it though? Proverbs says Wisdom cries out in the streets, so it’s there for those who will receive it. Foolishness and pride, along with an ego-centric lust for sensationalism are prevalent in our society. It IS up to us to be led by the Spirit and enter into all OUR world. BTW… I still get a lot of my things at the goodwill….don’t have to …just seem to find things I like and then I can invest whatever I save in my students, homeless, or ministry! Thanks for a though-provoking post~!

Thanks, Nancy. Sorry you couldn’t get through at TC’s. You two will get along great! Two peas in a pod… Well, actually there is so many of us now I’m not sure we’d fit in a pod! I so appreciate your heart and wisdom. It comes from our Father and it is our inheritance.
