COWBOY BOOTS, THE NIGHT, AND THE BUICK
Some lessons in life are painful enough to remember in detail, but interestingly, not always painful enough to keep us from making the same missteps more than once. I’m honored to be sharing a story of one of those lessons over at my friend and sister, Mia’s site today. http://hisnlovingembrace.wordpress.com is Mia’s site where she spins rich words of wisdom steeped in beauty yet more powerful than dynamite.
You’ll be inspired by this South African girl who, despite being mostly homebound due to Fm/CFS, leans into her affliction and finds the heart and hand of our Father as she shares the His truths in her ministry. Mia is supported by her loving husband and two sons who all share the same heart for our Father. Join me over at Mia’s place today and make her site a regular stop where you’ll be moved and encouraged.
If you’ve had a similar experience that involved cowboy boots, the night, and a Buick, click the link, we’d love to hear from you at http://hisnlovingembrace.wordpress.com/2013/09/08/those-boots-are-made-for-walking/And whatever you do walk – don’t run! I’ll catch you at Mia’s.

Commented over there my friend. I never wore cowboy boots but sure do remember running through the neighborhood with my new PF Flyers on.

I caught it, Bill. I’d like to read a post about one of your bike “accidents”!

I have a hard time commenting on WP sites. It wants a name password that I either don’t have or don’t remember. So I’ll comment here. As usually, a great piece. I love the way you make stories come alive and ultimately lead to a Christian message in the end. And you even got to go out after dark.

Isn’t that every kid’s ambition? To go out after dark! I’ve been having some problems leaving comments on Jason’s site too? Maybe it’s something in the air? Make that air waves… Thanks, Dan.

I popped back to Mia’s post, b/c I knew I’d commented and didn’t know if you knew. SO to read “me” and read your sweet and kind comment just touched my heart as usual. I sure want to meet you and yours. Oh, well…
And I did love the post, BTW.
